WRITER / DIRECTOR / PRODUCER
MICHAEL MEDEIROS is finishing post production on a new film,

3 MINUTES, about gun violence in America.

He wrote and directed the 2007 dramatic short film, Underground, which played festivals in the UK, France and the U.S. He has also directed for the stage in NYC and regionally. Michael trained as an actor with legendary coach, Uta Hagen. Film & TV projects include: She's Lost Control (Berlinale 2014), X-Men First Class, Synecdoche New York, Sometime In August (Hamptons –Golden Starfish), RoboCop2, Elementary, Person of Interest, Son of the Morning Star and Law & Order. He received critical acclaim at Chicago’s Goodman Theatre in Camino Real. Other Theatre work includes, New York Shakespeare Festival, The Kennedy Center and many more. CINEMATOGRAPHER
NILS KENASTON was born in New Delhi, India, and grew up in Singapore, Malaysia, and San Francisco. He attended Brown University and the Hoch Schule der Kunst and witnessed the collapse of the Berlin Wall, capturing his experience on Super-8 film. In 1991 he moved to New York City. His early jobs included Todd Haynes' Poison and Ang Lee's Pushing Hands. He has shot over a dozen feature films and numerous documentaries. His work has been included in the Berlin Film Festival, the Whitney Biennial, Slamdance (The Holy Land – Slamdance Grand Jury Prize), Hamptons (Sometime In August – Golden Starfish) and the Student Academy Awards.

COMPOSER
MILOSZ JEZIORSKI’S work includes the epic experimental feature film 'Ontologica!' (2011), dir. by Skylar Gordon, which was awarded 'Best Original Score' at VisionFest. He collaborated with composer, Paul Cantelon, on the Fox Searchlight feature, 'Conviction' (2010), directed by Tony Goldwyn, and 'Firelight' (2012), directed by Darnell Martin. Films that feature his music have premiered at major festivals in California, Cannes, New York, Toronto, and theaters worldwide.

EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
ALAN HRUSKA has written, produced and directed several feature films, including Nola (Tribeca FF), The Warrior Class and Reunion. In his other career, he is a partner in the New York law firm, Cravath Swaine & Moore. Some of his clients have included Henry Kissenger, William Paley and many others. He is co-founder of the book publishing company, Soho Press.

 

CATHERINE CONNOR  is actively involved in broadening community support for the arts.  She has served on the boards of Opera Carolina, The Charlotte Symphony, Chamber Music at St. Peters, WDAV 89.9 Classical Music, WTVI PBS Charlotte, Moving Poets and New River Dramatists.

TOM PELPHREY (Ricky) A two time EMMY Award winner, Tom currently plays Kurt Bunker in the hit series BANSHEE on CINEMAX. He starred in 2012‘s Excuse Me For Living, Junction and also in the acclaimed Broadway production of End of The Rainbow with Tracy Bennett.  He also appears in the upcoming films, Lucky N#mbr, Sebastien and Anchors.  Television work includes Blue Bloods, The Good Wife and Body of Proof. He is a founding member of Apothecary Theatre Company.

 

ILVI DULACK  (Annie) most recently appeared in the indie feature, Brilliant Mistakes, directed by Paul Brighton. She was in Solomon’s Child on Broadway and Ah, Bright Wings at Long Wharf Theatre. Other work includes Yelena in On The Eve for Russian director, Alecksey Burago at New York’s Neighborhood Playhouse and Constance in 1348 at the Chelsea Playhouse Off-Broadway.

 

KEVIN KANE (Delivery Guy) recently won an Emmy for his work on the hit comedy series, Inside Amy Schumer and was one of the 12 Angry Men in Amy Schumer’s take-off of the classic film. He was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor for his performance in the revival of “Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me” at New York Theater Workshop. Film: Trainwreck, I'm Not Me, A Song Still Inside, TV: SVU, White Collar, One Life to Live. He graduated from the William Esper Studio. He's also a founding member and co-artistic director of The Collective NY.

 

KAREN CHAMBERLAIN  (Louise) recently appeared in the hit comedy, Trainwreck and also in Inside Amy Schumer which was developed from the Collective Theatre Company, of which she is a founding member. Past films include Coffee & Pie, Billie, Gabi On The Roof In July and the upcoming, Wild Canaries. She has been a master acting teacher for many years, previously at Bill Esper Studio and Rutgers University and is currently a senior lecturer at University of the Arts in Philadelphia.

 

TOM NARDINI (Russell) Was nominated for a Golden Globe for Cat Ballou in which he starred with Jane Fonda. Other films: Self Defense, The Devil’s 8, The Young Animals, Africa Texas Style. Numerous television appearances include Kate and Allie, T.J. Hooker, Kung Fu, Love American Style, Mod Squad, Room 222 and many others. Stage credits: Long Wharf Theatre and Solomon’s Child on Broadway.

 

William Hill’s films include: A Most Violent Year, Blowtorch, Mildred Pierce , The Company Men, Gran Torino, Cadillac Records, The Key To Reserva (Scorsese), A Dog Year, Anything Else, School of Rock, How 2 Lose A Guy In Ten Days, Pwople I Know, Small Time Crooks, Analyze This and many more. Television: The Knick (dir. by Steven Soderbergh), George O’Neil on the first two seasons of Boardwalk Empire. RITA GARDNER (Betty) has a career that spans over fifty years. She starred in the original production of the Fantastiks Off Broadway with Jerry Orbach. Her Broadway credits include A Family Affair, 1776, Last Of The Red Hot Lovers and many other productions across the country. Film work includes Mr. Gibb, Super Heroes and P.S. I Love You with Hillary Swank. New York television roles include all of the variations of Law & Order and most recently 30 Rock.


SARAH SHAEFER'S (Sandy)  most recent film appearance was in Victoria Mahoney’s, Yelling To The Sky (Sundance, Berlin). Other film work includes A Cop Killer and Underground. Stage appearances: Bus Stop at the Inge Festival, New York Theatre Workshop, Classic Stage Company, Young Playwrights, Page 73, LAByrinth, and terraNOVA.

 

Krista Amigone is an actress and writer originally from Buffalo, NY. A graduate of Butler University and the William Esper Meisner program. Notable film credits include, Nora Joyce in Left Bank Bookseller, and Kat in Logan’s Power for which she won a Best Actress Award at the Hunter College Film Festival.  Favorite stage credits include Mrs. Peters in Trifles, and Cheri in Good Drugs for People Who Love Bad Drugs, one of many pieces she performed as a member of The Collective NYC.
